Ingredients:
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed or 1/4 t garlic powder
hot red pepper flakes, to taste (optional)
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (or however many cover the pan in one layer)
2 cups marinara sauce (less than one jar)
1/4 cup chopped basil
8 oz mozzarella, shredded and separated
4 oz Parmesan, grated and separated
1 (5-oz) package garlic croutons
Pour the olive oil and sprinkle garlic or garlic powder in the bottom a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle hot red pepper flakes (optional). Put chicken in pan in single layer then pour marinara sauce over chicken. Sprinkle basil, 4 oz (half) mozzarella and 2 oz (half) Parmesan cheese on top. Add croutons then sprinkle other half of cheeses on top. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 min to an hour. It is done when chicken is 155 degrees according to a meat thermometer.
